This is a tough one. I mean, do you boo both of them? The Westies? KKK?

that's.. unexpected
What a match up!
And in this corner weighing in at . . .
Kind of like celebrity deathmatch.
but said he believes the white race is "slowly and most assuredly being denigrated"Well, yeah.
See, E36 M3 like this is why I hate CNN. Why would you even ask someone that? Is it just so they can claim all gun owners are racists later on? Or are they just douchebags?Members of the group declined to say whether they were armed.
I'm hoping a sinkhole forms beneath both groups and swallows them under.
BTW, LULZ at the sign targeting Anonymous. Problem, silly bigots?

It's part of the liberal media meme: Gun Owner = Conservative Racist, regardless.

They did sneak that little sucker in there, didn't they?
But it's only Fox News that's biased. Everybody knows that.
Oh boy ^^^

Is it wrong to hope the reporter was going to pay a homeless person to yell "he's got a gun" until someone in the KKK pops one of the Westies and all hell breaks loose infront of his camera.
Have you quit beating your wife?
The media's good at twisting facts to fit whatever image they want you to have.
I'm going with the KKK on this one. They've been around a lot longer and can probably deal with the Westies.
you know, if there EVER was a time and a place for a terrorist attack...

See, for all of the tinfoil hat conspirators, you'd think the US gov would lob a plane on top of both groups and call it a day!

The Westies tend to congregate together, but the KKK is scattered.
In reply to NickF40:
completely inappropriate.
Wait, there are three protests and CNN virtually ignores the largest group?
Well, everyone knows that Faux News is the only biased media source. Some at CNN must feel proud of their efforts but the reason escapes me.

Where did it say anything about "gun owners"?
In reply to fast_eddie_72:
It doesn't specifically say gun owner, but they put this line about 1/4 of the way into the story
"LaBonte insisted he is not a racist nor a "hate-monger," but said he believes the white race is "slowly and most assuredly being denigrated."
Members of the group declined to say whether they were armed."
In reply to Wally:
Well, yeah. That's kinda what I was saying. The word "gun" isn't in the article - in reference to those who own them or otherwise.
I guess I should add - it seems to me that in the context of the story, it would not be inappropriate to ask if the counter protestors were armed. These are self-identified members of the KKK, a group that has had more than a bit of violence in their past. They were asked and answered with something other than "no". That does say something. Is it germane to the story? I guess that's subjective. But I don't see how it implies any kind of bias other than against the KKK.
Both groups have a lot to attone for on the cosmic scale
... something about blind pigs and acorns.
