Melancholy song. Reminds me of both my deceased wife and the deceased artist...but I loved this song the first time we heard Jim play it which was in a small show with probably 200 people max. One of life's irony's I guess.

Geez, this forum is fast-paced! This thread was first page active yesterday and today it's second page old news. But that's a good thing for this forum. It's active!
So I'm listening to David Gilmour in a recent concert that's excellent. Son Jason and I are looking at his concert schedule, and will see him in 2021 if possible.
Annie and I got married in October '86 in Wells, Maine. Low profile affair. That night we had dinner at The Cliff House (the original one) in Ogunquit. The Boston band at the bar was called "Bosco" and played Billy Joel covers. I remember this song well, and the chocolate strawberries for dessert, and a great evening at our destination, the Cape Arundel Inn in Kennebunkport.
Unbelievable voice from 70 years ago. And perfect pitch. She was the goddess long before Babs.
