I heard it, now you have to.
Forgiato Blow, umm the funny white guy, his grandfather founded autotrader.
Who do you think you're talking to?
Sort of. I think the first thing he played on was Joes Garage. You actually hear him mentioned in one of the songs, I believe it's Catholic girls.
The last Mothers album was Bongo Fury in 75. One of my favourites and my favourite Zappa band.
And since you're into the Zappa soloing lately, here's a song from it
If you're not familiar with this album give it a listen. It has a little bit of everything, and the Beefheart stuff is brilliant. Advance romance is an awesome jam with a bunch of soloing, the usual Zappa conceptual continuity, and one of the best lines ever from NMB. Half an hour later she had frenched his fry!
Currently listening to the 12 Hours of Sebring (NBCSN coverage) on headphones. Every once in awhile the announcers will STFU so I can enjoy the car sounds.
I don't know why I have never settled down but in my middle age there is still nothing that gives me as much joy as bratty, irreverent immature punk rock
The chats do this well.
We watched a Tommy Lee Jones movie tonight "In the Electric Mist." Good movie. Tommy Lee was great as usual. But the real star of it was Levin Helm, playing a dual role. He was spectacular. And I believe he wasn't acting! He was himself. Buddy Guy was in the movie too!

The nee album is sounding great.
I didn't know there was one, but I'll be looking into that as soon as I'm conscious again. Thanks!
Kenny Chesney's song Knowing You. I heard it for the first time a few days ago and have replayed it dozens of times crying my eyes out. It so perfectly sums up how I feel about my life with Jodi.
Remember when Sport Compact Car had a music review page?
I bought this album because of that.
Found it the other day.

Even though it's a great, somewhat warm mid-November Saturday evening in SoNE, we chose to have a fire indoors rather than outdoors. So here's our indoor fire:
Earlier we were at Treehouse Tavern for dinner:
We ate indoors at the bar, but there were a lot of patrons outdoors. The Treehouse Tavern has done a lot to comply with RI State Covid regs and still promote business during these difficult times. Kudos to them! If you're ever in RI, you should try them out. Tell Alin or Michael that Gary and Annie sent you.
So now the fire has burned down, and there's no wine left, so it's time to call it a night.
Jeez, I hope Poop-Shovel isn't monitoring this thread. I wish him the best.
A lot of people have covered this song. And most people think that Shrek wrote it. But Leonard Cohen wrote the song. And this is probably his best performance of it. In fact, this concert at the O2 Arena in London in 2008 was probably his best concert ever. He's a great performer by himself, but he had the best back-up artists ever assembled for a concert ... well, until Mark Knopfler's 2019 North American tour.
The only reason they didn't have american flags on that truck is cause they woulda got muddy. can't let that happen
