Been collecting decals since the sixties. We used to hit up the local service stations and annoy them till they gave us stickers and we went away.

Lotuses (Loti). I collect Lotuses. Full size ones, mostly, but the little ones (MB, HW, die cast) as well. I swear the full size ones are like tribbles.
And I have 2 real and 3 toy sextants. Is that a collection? I also seem to have a laptop collection that I really hadn't been actively trying to collect. I may also have a cat collection. I'm down to 7.5, I think.

I have a huge very messy collection of stickers from my motorcycle daze, and I am always on the lookout for Jensen Healey memorabilia.

I still don't know what those are or what good ( other than collecting ) they are

I design, build and collect simple, model steam engines (like the one below). I have dozens of them.
Also, I have quite a collection of British cars.

More hoarding than a "collection", really. Souvenirs from my racing. Not much as driver (still got my suit, and my Snell 95 helmet, some old printed race invites for SCCA regionals & ProRallies), but a pack of stuff from working. T-shirts, race programs, posters, and fence banners.
Other thing would be plastic model kits. Somehow, I kept buying them, even though I seem to have stopped building them years ago. None of my finished ones seem to have survived after all my moving around, but the "Shelf Of Doom" always seems to make it. Hell, maybe if I retire I'll get to them..

Same here. I can't bring myself to use any of the really cool ones. Apparently I'm collecting motorcycles now too. I used to collect vintage stereo equipment, but it took too much room.
It started as a joke, because I always saw bungee cords on the road, and thought it would be funny to pick up every one I saw. I had so many within about a year, I had to stop.

I kinda collect anything that doesn't move. I have so many parts for third generation Honda Accords that it's just not funny. I don't like throwing away anything I might be able to use later. I usually let things sit for a year before getting rid of most things.
Yeah, I'm more of a hoarder than a collector.

I've got a relatively decent shot glass/beer stein/interesting glass collection, although most are shot glasses, like from an old Hot Rod power tour for instance.
Trying to decide if I'm going to keep them or not. I don't have any place to display them, and if I did, it feels a bit juvenile to have that up somewhere.
Other than that, I'm the complete opposite of a hoarder. The shed on my property is filled with other family members things, not mine.
If I don't use/wear something for more than a year, I usually toss it.
