At one store I found an old Trans Am sitting half buried in the back room.

I couldn't even find a 2 rca female to 1/8" stereo female adapter from them, even from their website. An XBox360 didn't have a headphone jack, and the only speakers I had were a set of crappy computer speakers. I wound up paying $3 just to order the part from some place out in Oregon.

Is it just me, or is that just obtuse? BTW, they had about 10 pages of audio adapters, but not a single rca female to stereo female...

Last time I went in there, the idiot didn't even know what an RCA plug was.

I could have, but I think I calculated it'd cost like $11 to buy the two parts from Radio Shack, AND I'd still have to order it online.

I remember the days you could practically build a bomb from a Radio Shack, these days all they do is sell cellphones.

I use a 1/4" to 1/8" stereo to mono cable for a P/A at work...I have to mail order them now to get what I need.

I was working at California Speedway a few weeks ago & needed some things to fix a display board we use at the track... This place was God-Like! AbleTronics
