I got a wii a few years ago. I like that it is more active than sitting down and exercising your thumbs and the cool technology. What I HATE about it is when you are playing and don't win your mii pouts. We tried hard to train our kids to be good sports and I notice my youngest pouts when he looses...only when he plays Wii and only after he sees his mii pouting.
I wish Nintendo had a download to remove this. I would have not bought it had I known, and will not buy another one.

Yeah my SIL is a pretty depressive person with weight issues. My FIL bought the Wii Fit so she wouldn't be self conscious like she is when she goes to the Gym.

The problem is, when you enter all your info, then weigh yourself on the Board, it calculates your weight/height ratio and it makes your Mii fat as hell if you're over weight. Sure you lose the weight and the Mii shrinks down in size, but my SIL doesn't want something visually telling you you're fat. It made her self conscious again.

She hasn't used it since and that was over a year ago.

You forgot to mention that when the Mii gets fat it looks down at itself, then looks back up at you and gets real sad.

My side won one in a drawing at work. I haven't need able to find any good racing games like the cool ones for the ps....not that I've really looked that hard.

Excite truck is no driving simulator, but I've had lots of fun with it.

I love the Wii only because it is the only system I've seen that my son withultiple special needs is able to play. He loves pong pong and sword fighting on wii sports resort.

Agree about the wii fit. You can always lie about your height if you want your mii to look skinnier on screen.

    I like NFS Pro Street.

The whole mii thing is quite annoying.

    Thanks

Mario Kart Wii is something not to be missed either.

I didn't like NFS Pro Street as much - I missed the whole cop chasing thing. It's pretty cool as a Wii "simulator" of sorts. Picked up a used copy of NFS Carbon, and I'm quite enjoying the entertainment value or the "arcade" style. I love the cop chase bit :)

I disliked the controls and the need for ricing out cars in the usual NFS stuff in carbon. I found Prostreet to be a nice medium between the ricer games and stuff like GT on the PS

mario kart Wii all the way :)... not nearly as serious as Forza but learning to drive quickly on Mario kart is still an art and real fun doing time trials... I just wish that online had a no special "ups" race option... or set it like the time trials where your only special "ups" are speed boosters...
