    Favorites:

Chili cheese fries with ranch dressing and bacon bits
steak 'n' shake or Skyline 7-way chili
In n Out double double with fries animal style

I'm also partial to "the mule" at the Breakfast Club in Chalmette, LA. Three pancakes the size of your head, three sausage patties, three strips of bacon, hashbrowns, grits, three eggs, and your choice of biscuit or toast.

Back in the day, it was the Emmy Bull Burger from Dirty Dan's in Albany, NY. A half-pound hamburger, topped with American cheese, two slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and a fried egg. I used to accentuate it with four taps of Tabasco sauce and chow down.

Now if I've got a buzz, I enjoy, in no particular order:

crackers, smoked sausage and sharp cheddar cheese

Bangers and Mash, if I can get it

Home-made Poutine, if I have the curds

    Pizza

    Denver Omelet

Drunk Pancakes (made with homebrew brown ale and a bit of oatmeal)

Pretty sure the delivery time to you would kill any spontaneous drunken late night 5 star. (Unless you are out joyriding the jets of course )

Logistics are difficult, of course, but even now I can't get even the least bit buzzed without hankering for that magical pie.

The great thing about Five Star isn't necessarily the pizza itself, although it is alright. It's how you're thinking about how hungry you are after a night of drinking, and here's this magical pizza fairy, offering you pizzas for sale on foot for $5 cash.

Hippie Hash at the Fleetwood Diner in Ann Arbor has always been a great go-to.

Chips ("fries") with gravy, or a Mediterranean kebab from the little kebab place on campus: feta cheese, deep-fried egg-plant and some other things. Way tastier than it sounds on paper!

When I used to go out in Pottsville, after a night of drinking we'd go to "Coney Island" A couple of coney burger, cheese fries, chocolate shake, pierogies and if I was still hungry a coney dog or two...

One night during a blizzard when they shut the roads down. We walked 24 blocks all uphill, just to eat that E36 M3. Of course we stopped at a few bars along the way

For me its chicken and rice if im in new york.

other wise the holy grail for me is 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, and a hash brown in a Portuguese roll.

I don't drink, but I have been known to travel a half hour on a train and walk a mile just for late night taco bell. mmm mmm taco supreme.

I've even met friend's late night at the bell. We don't plan on it, great minds just think alike!

Krystal gut bombs : the only time I can stomach one of them but they do hit the spot. If I were a cop, I would just hang out in the parking lot and do sobriety tests.

I've been to the one in Chico at least six times and I still have no idea where it is. Funny how that happens sometimes...
