I love Oakley Half Jackets. They fit my face well, aren't too dark, and durable (which is important cause I'm good at breaking things )

agreed. Although my next pair will be Maui Jim's, the lenses are soooo nice

    Mirrored aviators...

If you spent more than 10 bucks or got them somewhere besides the gas station or a convenience store, youve spent too much. I prefer to use mine while driving my car from the 90s, listening to Beastie Boys - Liscensed to ill on my cassette deck and operating the pedals with my pumas on...the way God intended us to drive.

+1 for aviators. With the shaved head and gotee, I look like bad cop.

Dark brown tinted prescriptions, cuts glare better than any other color I've tried.

Anything with decent polarized lens is fine in a pinch. I'm not much of a slave to fashion but I avoid the mirrored / chrome look in lieu of a dark lens & frame combo when I'm picking a pair to pay real money for. I've had a tendency to try on a bunch and then end up in Ray Ban Wayfarers again. Now if I could just stop crushing them I'd be all set.

I find sunglasses to be essential when I'm paddling my canoe.

[ZZ Top] Cheap sunglasses. [/ZZ Top]

I break, scratch, or lose sunglasses on far too regular a basis to pay more than $10 a pair.

I prefer larger aviators with a black frame and dark grey or grey-green lenses. Full coverage is the key - no leaks at the top or sides.

as somebody who's eyes are VERY light sensitive, I tend to wear older Oakly Mframes. Not very trendy, but the wrap around protects my eyes nicely.

And I have yet to break them in 5+ years of wearing them.. just scratched up the lenses a couple of times. Now that lenses are getting harder to find.. I may have to look into the flakjacket or the half jacket.

Polarized clip ons. Especially in the Esprit where the windshield is a huge almost flat piece of glass. The reflections and glare off it get greatly reduced with the polarized lenses.

If you wear sunglasses while driving into the setting sun, you are smart, and should use RayBans.

If you wear sunglasses all the time, you have something to hide, and can't be trusted.

If you wear sunglasses indoors, you are a happy person with a polished finish.

All the sunglass makers are owned by the same company anyway, so at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter.

Might wanna checked out the new Oakley M Frame Hybrid. It's basically an M frame with a lense more like the size of a half jacket.

I need to get a pair of those. I love me some spys, and I can't wear my tourings anymore (they're apparently REALLY rare) and I need some backups for my MC's.

So you mean the $400 on prescription Ray-Bans were a waste of money? Even if I didn't have to pay for them?
