Last year I was thoughtful and gave my wife a second son. I threw away the receipt so she could not return it.

I've always heard a grand piano makes a nice gift, but I have a feeling an upright organ would be more appreciated.

I want to buy my wife an E-Reader. Since the Nook sold out, I won't be able to get her the one that I think is best.

Think of useful things. My wife will literally wear out an E-Reader. Not only is she a big reader, she's hard on gadgets. The next thing I am thinking about is another iPod because her last one has a failing drive and failing battery. Last year, I bought her a netbook. Best $300 I've spent on a significant other. She uses it several hours every day, and it replaced her full-size laptop. The year before was a Nintendo DS.

You need to ask her what she wants. Does she want fufu girlie useless stuff, or does she want to use it every day?

A bathroom scale and an apron.

One year, my dad gave my mom a 5' (live) alligator for x-mas. It lived in the shop (free range) for about 4 mos before my mom said it was either going to be her or the gator gone.

    I miss the gator. :(

Okay, this one takes a little bit of putting together. The [slightly] hard part: You have to find a Tiffany's box and bag. Once they see the Robins-egg blue, they forget about whats inside. Thats where the TJ Maxx/Value City/ whatever comes in. You can figure out the rest.

But if yo go to Tiffany's around the holidays, the elevator operator sings to you.

    Nice voice too.

Yes, but if you put a roses on her piano, she might put tulips on your organ...
