They were probably throwing the damn taillights out with the trash from all the mad tyte dorifto squids totalling their Fast-n-Furious Mk IVs anyway, so people just started sticking them in other crap.
Kinda like the way V8 Ford Volvo conversions got started: take what you got lying around all over the junk yard and stick the usable bits together.

Yea, what? I never understood the "graft on taillights from other cars" trend. And if you're wondering where all those Supra lights came from, they came from Supras, after their trendy owners replaced them with Altezza-style ones.
