    Jackson Barrett just showed a retrospective of Barris' work. It's amazing the number of cars he did for Hollywood back in the day!

    I get to see one of those semi-regularly. A guy who works in the same building as my wife owns a replica, and occasionally drives it to work. Makes my Grand Marquis look small.

    There's someone around here who built a Batmobile replica, I think he used a 1970s Pontiac for the chassis and drivetrain. You can buy the fiberglass bodies from somewhere.
