A 4-cylinder automatic, plus tons of crappy bodywork, on dedicated "autocrossers"...
With an old Camaro or Firebird, you can get away with that crap. But not on these... things.

They could make a horror movie about this guy. Just a regular looking guy on the hunt for an autocross car, who then takes them back to his shop and butchers them into these grotesque monstrosities...sort of like Human Centipede but with cars.
