Ok, most people have the day off. How many of you, like me, have to work today? It's gonna be a long, slow day.

I am, but I probably don't count.
Actually I took a day off on Canadian thanksgiving in October, so I figured doing both of them was pushing it.

11:00 AM until 10:30 PM. My wife went home (250 miles each way) to visit family. I stayed in depressed SW Michigan so I could go to my place of underemployment.

Need a shoulder to cry on Kramer? I have crappy beer left over from yesterday that you can partake of. I am between I-94 and I-96 on US-127.

Man, that's tempting. I actually grew up about 2 miles off 127, but in Ohio, 210 miles south of you.

Did you get to put out any turkeys? One of my coworkers took out his garage with a fryer yesterday.
I'll be out 3-11, hopefully it will be a little busier than yesterday was.

I'm at work, but only for a few hours. I'll spend most of the time doing what I am doing right now - the building is nearly deserted. Not much to do. Maybe I'll stop by Harbor Freight to see what they have on sale.

I'm "working!" I don't anticipate much business but I'm here just in case. I don't really mind being here, plus I brought both the new GRM and CMS to reread. And there's always the forum.

I'm at work. Typically a busy day at work(but not this year). Usually work turkey day too, but not this year. I work for a ski resort, and currently we don't have enough snow to open. This has only happened to us once before in my 12 prior years. Probably head out early around 4 ish.

8am yesterday to 8am today. I'm not complaining it was an overtime shift. I need it to finish my project. Working Christmas too.

I'm at work... if you can call it that. I'm eating leftovers, on the internet, talking to my wife on the phone, and answering the phone once an hour.

I'm working today. Got here around 9. May get to leave a little early, too. This is a good day to get caught up on things that have been neglected.

I work at home, most of my customers are outside the US, so might as well get something done. Did a couple cold calls that went well. Not much ambition, though. Hard to beat a 15' commute.

The headline on the local evening news a couple years ago, when everyone was going out and buying turkey friers was (say it in serious news voice:) "DEEEEP FRIIEEEED DAAAAANGEERRRR!!!"
