One of my good friends and I have done it a few times, both pigs were in the 60-70 lb range.

But he had a roasting box like this:

Another vote for a china box here, we roasted a 50lb pig in a china box made from plywood and foil. Turned out great. With a coulple temp probes inside the box its easy to control temperature with the charcoal layout.
