Why do I feel the need to aggravate people? Why do I want to get under peoples skin? You ever?

I walk up to the dude spray polishing this Mercedes..............

Me: What is this? Some type of Mercedes with Lambo Doors?

    FMW: No....it's the Mercedes SLS........

Me: Yeah, I know I saw all the youtubes on this and was kidding.

Me: What line did you have to wait in to get this?

FMW: Ordered 1-1/2 years ago - special paint and interior. Paint option was $10,000 option. Liquid silver (??)

Me: Bought sight unseen and never test drove? Nice car - then I eyeball Maverick guy checking out Benz......................(At least I got a nice picture of a 1957 Chevrolet that I fell in love with)

    Nice 57.

The MB, take it or leave it. Though my BIL says they are a blast to drive.

So far, I've got a real good record of hiding the bodies of those who irritated me.

Chances are the chevy owner has just as much money into his belly button street rod as the merc owner has into his.

I have seen more tri-five chevys in my life than I can stomach. They are the most played out car in the history of automobiles. Moreso than the 32 ford IMO.

I don't think you aggravated the SLS dude at all. He was/is really proud of the nice ride he bought, even if it is brand new and totally stock. I make decent money and don't feel I can afford Starbucks, so I'm not sure how much money I'd have to have before I even thought about owning a car like a SLS. I know for sure I would never buy a car like that on credit.

10 grand on paint? Jesus. 10 grand will get you a damn nice custom paint job in whatever color you want!

It's SILVER dude...a can of krylon would have made it that color!

in qll truth the paint on the sls is show quality pain. not of the quality that most oem cars are. but still 10 grand option means markup. its 5 grand extra in labor so 10j. see

While I also struggle to wrap my head around a $10K paint option that doesn't include a full airbrushed mural, that is one berkeleying cool car.

Wonder if AMG would accept my special order of "sweetass flames with burning skulls"...

Actually we did have a great conversation about the car and him ordering it.

I do know this is an outstanding car; hence the reason I took pictures of it. I also got a great picture of the engine bay.

Some of this was posted in fun as the owner thought it was funny I asked about the Lambo doors......(I know they are gull wing)

It is an honor to be noted as the worst post ever but I doubt I will surpass the "stop hot link" post.

I see what you did there, mocking this post as pointless and then doing the very thing he asks in the subject line. ;-)

Last year someone in their early 30's brought their GTR to the autocross.

A few of the guys who are usually the friendliest around acted like total harassing 'holes to the owner, just out of no where, for no reason (e.g. the owner was friendly and actually a fairly competent driver); it was the real-life version of a YouTube video comments section.
