Alright, i give up... Why is it called canoeing when this forum is spammed? I can't the term anywhere else!

It is our safety word. It was a word that most GRMers will not likely use during normal conversation.

It is actually not Canoeing, drop the -ing.
I was decided long ago that there should be a code word.
The moderators search the board for the code word and that shows spam-like posts that have been tagged by readers.
Mostly it is a self monitoring system. Try to use the code word sparingly.

This post has a good chance of being deleted.

Copy copy... Sorry about the unintentional flagging of it...

I tried all my normal sources, google, urban dictionary, etc, so I finally had to break down and ask :)

I appreciate the ask, I didn't know myself.

I just took it as part of the usual "E36 M3" that goes on around here

Didn't someone say it was the safety word for when Peter and Lois tried BDSM on Family Guy?

Yea, that was the original idea. That said, we haven't searched on that term in a while....so, it's essentially a fun artifact.

Maybe this is worthy of a sticky in the feedback section?

Actually, maybe a dictionary of filtered words should be listed.

How often do GRM'ers have "normal" conversations?

First rule of fight club: DON'T TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB.

    First rule of Canoes......

Isn't the Urban Dictionary editable? Maybe someone should add the info.

The "C" word is a decent choice because it is a word that is unlikely to come up in conversation in the GRM crowd. Of course, with this bunch, never say never...

... LS6 powered [native American water transport craft] anyone?

It's like a cat, used to denote a wimpy person.

not likely to come up, but for awhile there I was thinking about making a turbocharger into a jet engine and mounting it on a canoe.

decided working on my car and pulling together to start a locost were better uses of my time as epic as a jet canoe would be.

Kinda like another way to call a cat a kitty.
