Anyone else watching this show? It's got Frodo talking to a pot head guy in a dog suit (which everyone else sees as a real dog)

It is amazingly hilarious. I think it comes on FX, but I'm not certain.

First episode wasn't too bad... the second, hilarious.

I have to watch the second, I missed due to "obligations"... stupid obligations.

I dont understand it. Something must be lost in translation, or I don't smoke enough dope to enjoy stoner comedy any more.

The 'original' series is pretty good, too. Dog is the same actor, but the other characters are relatively unknown actors.

Usually I can't warm up to series that were already done well (I'm looking at you, The Office), but I really like the fact that the US version of the series features one of the original creators.

And I'm not sure I'd call it stoner comedy, because very little of the humor is actually weed-based. I think a lot of the humor comes from the way they've perfectly captured how we tend to anthropomorphise and project ourselves onto animals. That aspect they completely nail.

Wilfred and Louie are probably the best 1-2 punch on tv at the moment.

Seeing Frodo as a repressed manic depressive is an interesting touch. Having him playing against a cynical, but realistic, dog with an Aussie accent is icing on a sweet cake.

I don't really care much for cake, but the show is good.

DAMNIT! Wife and I were/are really stoked to see it. Guess we should move even further into the current century and do the DVR thing...or just like, remember to watch it.

Should be easy to remember as Thursday is really the only night we'll sit and watch TV. Parks & Recreation is berkeleying hilarious IMO. The Libertarian dude with the mustache is awesome.

There's not much on TV that I'll regularly watch. Wilfred is one that I've set the DVR to record the series.
