Is there anyway to change the way it displays if you have multiple windows open to the old style? Basically make it so it doesn't do the stupid stacking of icons but has it so that if I have 5 windows of excel open I can see them all at bottom and quickly select the one I want.

I am not on my 7 machine at the moment, so I am trying to remember. If you right click on the task bar and select properties, it should give you the option of "Group similar taskbar buttons". Uncheck that box and you have separate icons for each window open.

yes there is... I've got it setup on this computer... also I have it set so that at the bottom it's only an icon if it's not launched but if the program is launched it's a small bar (like old win stuff)...

sadly I can't recall how I did it... i'll dig around and see if I can figure it out... lol
