My parents would like a set for watching tv while the other is sleeping, but I can't seem to find any that are either within my budget of $50, or don't have serious sound quality issues per reviews.
Any help?

My father-in-law has a set like these from Sony and he seems to like them.

After too many years of abusing my ears plinking with a .45, working with many hammer drills, and crewing on LOUD race cars, my hearing is about 45%. Wifey says I really need something like this, so will check it out. Thanks.
I was able to find some helpful information at the wireless headphones for tv site.
I've had nothing but good luck with Sennheiser. Don't know about their wireless though.

Sometimes, we get relevant canoes.
I just ordered a pair of cans. They're wired, but I'm really thinking about cranking up the amount of headphones in this house. When I was a teen, I had probably 15 or so pair of good headphones, not counting the throwaways you get when you buy a CD player. I pulled my first pair of decent cans out of storage, and they basically fell apart. I ordered up a set that's been heavily discounted to see if I can get my private listening pleasure back. I guess it helps that there's new music that I'm listening to, most of it pretty much requiring decent sound reproduction to get full effect. Heck, I might start wearing a pair to sleep again.
Whoa, didn't realize this thread was 2.5 years old.
Back from the dead. Wow.
I have Sennheiser wireless headphones. Not the crazy $400 ones, but RS120...they are a little over the $50 budget, but with 2.5 years of inflation I think they fit the bill.
