Woman, 29, free after DUI charge; Police say driver removed clothing

LITCHFIELD — A Colchester woman accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in May was released on a $2,500 bond Tuesday following her arraignment in Bantam Superior Court.

Police say Christine Duddie, 29, of 22 Mary Lane, handed a trooper a hair dryer from a bag on the passenger's seat of the pickup truck she was driving May 6 when he asked for her license.

Apparently aware she needed to put her seat belt on, she began removing her bra and shirt. She continued to remove her clothing, even after the trooper directed her not to, and put the seat belt on.

QFT. Ever since they closed Connecticut Dragway, the only thing left to do in Colchester is get drunk and take your clothes off. Wonder what she was doing over in Litchfield?
