Inspired by "Rusty_Rabbit84" and his thread "Will this be an alternative to speed?"

What shows do you people enjoy that are about cars/racing, but not on SPEED?

Honestly, I had no idea there were that many...

All I know about are: ESPN's Indy, nascar and drag coverage

    Fox's F1 coverage.

What I belive to be a local channel, "WVVH" that shows something like GP2 but with cars that are called by the country they are from, with Ferrari engines I belive... Marco Andretti is in the American car. The name escapes me.

    BBC's Top Gear, obviously...

    Anything else?

As one who does not have cable or satellite TV, I'm restricted to Motorweek on PBS.

A1GP is what you are trying to remember. Motorweek isn't bad, good car reviews. Although they are never going to bash anything that they test. I like seeing 75-80 Dragway on TV. It was the first drag strip I went to many years ago.
Speed pissed me off enough to drop that portion of my DirecTV service. I do not miss it.

There is a British show called Wheeler Dealers where they buy a iconic car from the 1980's and fix it up on a budget and then try to sell it for a profit. They did a 924, a Miata, a E30 wagon, and recently a Alfa spyder.

There is another show called Kit Car. It is a horrible and the cars are not very good, but I like to watch it. The best was when they had a kit Lambo Diablo vs a real one and they put them both on a dyno. The dyno operator and the real lambo guy didn't know the car was all wheel drive and tied the front tires down.

Most of the car show I watch are either on Discovery or Discovery HD Theater. Chasing Classic Cars, Why We Race, Twist the Throttle, Classis Car Club, Wheeler Dealers....etc. Check here.

I rarely even look at Speed, but I am more into the engineering said of cars than the motorsports aspect. My favorite show is Chasing Classic Cars or Wheeler Dealers. Both have a similar focus but completely different budgets; like millions of dollars or a couple thousand pounds, respectively.
