RC trivia time...what was the first ESC to have a one-touch setup instead of potentiometers? Man that made life easier.

I know a guy there he's going to hook me up with a bushless motor, ESC and soft ware for around $100 ship'd. The one he recomend was the 60A for my Slash.

I think it was Novak. (The Rooster, perhaps?) I dunno, I kind of liked the potentiometers on my 6-10 reversible. Made me feel like a doctor operating.

You kids with your reversible speed controls and simple gearboxes. If I wanted simple I would have bought a Tamiya like everyone else.

Have you seen some of their kits? Simple? I think not.
BTW, I learned on a three speed mechanical speed control.

My first "real" kit was a Kyosho Outlaw Ultima. I ended up replacing every part on that kit but the front and rear A-arm mounts (and only because no one made aftermarket replacements for those). That truck was even featured in the Reader's Rides section of RC Car Action in 94 or so. That was huge for me at the time.
