Hi All, though I'm new to the site, I have been a subscriber for a few years (since Grassroots had project Garfield).
Anyway, at around 8:30 AM this morning, I had just left my house when I saw the Shelby rumble by on Babcock Road near Scenic Loop right outside San Antonio. At first, I got super excited for obvious reasons, then as the car passed by, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the project Shelby! There was no mistaking that unique patina.
My first thought though was "why the hell was it all the way out here?" I wanted to whip back around, but I was on the way to my new born daughters first doctors appointment. The wife would have most definitely protested. Regardless, it would not have been a good idea since I soon realized the Texas 1000 was starting today. I am just ecstatic since the rout ran just two miles from my house.
This made my week, plus the project Shelby is even cooler in person! I can't wait to read about this in the future!
