Well, wife and I have decided that her next car needs to be an auto because we're getting old and broken. So... Forte is up for grabs.
2010 Forte SX 6-spd manual. BTR dyno tuned on 93 octane. with exhaust and intake in place, made 163hp/161tq, torque curve is beautiful. Has stock springs, bilstein struts, Koni sport rear shocks and a 19mm whiteline rear sway bar. Car can come with the high flow cat, header (not installed), RRM Intake and Kinetic Motorsports cat-back for an extra $500. 84k miles, sunroof and all the goodies it came stock with (all power, cruise, XM, bluetooth etc).
$5500 without exhaust and intake, $6000 with.
Build thread and updates. Sooper Kia
Oil change history is available. Trans fluid changed every 30k.
Good luck with the sale. Tax season should speed it up for you, too.

OK, color me interested. What class does the car currently sit in, and is it competitive? What wheel and tire packages come with it? Thanks.
In reply to Duke:
Car would slot into STF. With coilovers it was competitive with the MAzda 3's. Better driver would have made it more competitive. But I did have wins over better drivers at times. Take off the intake and it slots into H-Street. 2800lbs, 160whp it will do well. Stock wheels and tires come with it (17x7, 205/50R17 Kumho All seasons). I do have some 16x7 snows that can go along for a couple bucks. Stan got the 17x7.5 Kosei's. It really was a surprising car for a lot of people. Not a lot of understeer on good tires, can easily induce oversteer when over driven. Comfortable as a daily as well.
OK, so my longer than quick take on the car/platform since I've been driving it again this week.
The pluses: Great power. Comfortable. Plenty of amenities and creature comforts. Great (for Koreans) shifter feel. lots of interior space. great stereo. Amazing exhaust note (as currently fitted) in that 2500-5500 range. Just pure awesome. Chassis is capable and there is a lot of room for tire under the wheel wells (a 9" wheel tucks, enough room for a 245 tire). Platform shares with the more popular Veloster so options. Great brakes. And the torque curve, for a 2760lb car is amazing. 2k rpm it's making 140wtq, 3k is 150, 4k peaks at 161, 5k is still 150 and 6k is still 140. Driving this car in that midrange on the street is a true pleasure because it just pulls.Lighting the tires up on wet days is something that will just happen. while it's no honda, it pulls all the way to that 7400rpm red line with gusto. It's a really fun car on the street because you can use the power all the time because it's everywhere.
The minuses: Loud. Not engine, or exhaust but road noise. This is where the car is really a let down. Car is a capable 1000 mile highway cruiser, but you'll have a headache from the road noise. Just a little sound deadening in the doors would help tremendously. Tire selection is key. Fuel economy is "meh". I blame this on hte "big block" 2.4 and port injection. Highway below 70mph, it'' knock down low 30's all day long. Get into the city, low 20's. Stop and go sucks the gas like it's going out of style. Last, but certainly not least: clutch feel absolutely sucks ass. Hydraulic clutch with a dual mass flywheel makes "vague" sound like an improvement. You learn to compensate with a quick throttle blip before letting the throttle out to keep revs up but I still stall it at least once every few weeks because it's a horrible feel. I hear changing to a lightweight flywheel helps the feel, but this one still grips so I never bothered.
Honestly, I really love this thing. It filled all my needs at once. Its made multiple trips to NJ, Florida, Bowling Green, Chicago etc. I will truly miss this car when it's gone, but I just don't have room for 4 cars in the garage and I know it'll spend more time sitting than driving and that would truly be a shame.
Alright, last week before I strip all the expensive parts off and list in on that list of Craig's. PLease someone save me the hassle!
alrighty.. it is now the most boring car in the world to me. No fun noises.
Leather? Do you have a hitch?
Cloth, no hitch. Personally can't stand leather.
No offers other than typical half listing price lowballs from craigslisters? nothing?
I am interested, but I have a 2014 Mazda 3 Automatic, I have to get rid of.

OK, thanks. We're in DE / SEPA, and have a couple people needing cars, depending upon price point. When it is convenient, please PM me the details. Thanks!
Cleaned the cars this weekend. As clean as it is inside I should be asking more.
this weekend taking it to Tru Worth.
And it's gone. Tru Worth offered me $5600 for it no strings so we took it. Very sad day yesterday for me. Truly a fantastic car that I will miss.... but this sale allowed me to purchase more truck parts!
