The van is sold, pending my repair of the inoperable speedometer.

Listed the trailer on CR, how long before the first scam or offer to help sell.

A strange thing happened.  One text string, then they showed up, loved the trailer and gave me a check.   After it clears they come and get it. 

Waiting for something to go wrong, HOW LONG CAN I HOLD MY BREATH.

This is Craigslist people this can’t happen.

I insisted that they use write a check from the same bank that I use or bring cash.   That should help with confirming that the funds are available.

They will not get the title until all is clear.
