I've owned a Honda 500 Ascot thumper for years, but a few weeks ago I gave it to one of my younger brothers.

I had been thinking of converting it into a sort of ~GB 500 Clubman~, but with the airplane, the two vintage race cars, the summer house (trying to sell or rent) and the grand-kids, I simply don't have time (and I'm not complaining......life is good).

He's been having fun with it and has decided to try to do a ~30 Day Makeover~ on it. If you have a Facebook account, you can use the FB link on the blog to see a lot more photos.

Nice! I always have liked thumpers (on some boards I am 'thumperman') and the FT has always been near the top of my list.

HA! Back in the late 80's early 90's i rode with a guy that rode one of those. I was thinking about it just Sunday. I couldnt remember the model. I thought it was a cool bike and was thinking I might try and find one.
