Will those things record that high? Obviously it's in a metric country but the ones around here just start flashing if you go by them too quickly...I've, uh, heard.

The ones in the US used to read the actual speed.. that is until they started to find them with a white line across the road exactly a quarter mile down the road, and some very high recorded speeds!
That's the story at least. Not hard to believe though.
