Seems like a good price to me, although this model isn't as collectible as the earlier naked versions. That said, a fairing and saddlebags are nice to have on a bike that gets used.

680lbs...100hp...tops out at 130....

I sure wouldn't want to get a straight 6 off-center

Wasn't that like the worst of both worlds? An unreliable Honduh?

I do recall when we were house shopping, looking at a house just north of Galveston. There were 2 CBX's in the garage in various states of assembly, motorcycle parts scattered all over the house and a shotgun hanging on the wall. Felt like home. Financing didn't work out.

It wasn't unreliable if it was ridden every day. Unfortunately my 1979 CB750F had that duty.

That being said, the happiest day of my motorcycling life was the day I sold my CBX.

How'd you like to adjust 16 teeny tiny valves on that thing?

Best looking exhaust header ever.

If you thought the Honda CBX was complicated and unreliable... imagine if it was built by Italians. Here's the Benelli Sei.

16 valves?

I rode those when they first came out. You wouldn't believe how wide they were.

Yeah, weren't there 24 tiny valves?

I think you're right. 4 valves per cylinder = 24.
