I've wrecked in good jeans and I beg to differ... I had no rash, but did need stitches in one knee from initial impact in one accident. The other accident I had no damage to my legs, hips, etc, but had damage to my hand that I'm not sure the best gloves would have avoided.
However, anything with some decent knee protection would have saved me some stitches for sure.
I wrecked an atv in shorts one time and man do I WISH I had jeans on.
Still I'm looking for some decent summer overpants or the draggin jeans liners. The tourmaster pants cover me in winter and cool weather.
Totally depends on the crash. If you slide, the jeans will wear in no time. you obviously didn't slide in your crash (at least on your jeans)
I crashed on the street wearing jeans and only got a quarter size mark on my knee but it was due to luck, not the jeans.
