Thank you, Detroit, for producing PERFECT weather this week. I rode 300 miles, all around Detroit on a Street Triple. The roads West of town were like a free ticket to Awesomeville. The bike was good, too. Detroit people are cool.

I get the same thing on my Honda. Whatever is right. I wish I had the chance to do some riding this week but was working all week, and today was spent pedaling a bike instead. What roads are you enjoying riding on around here? I'm in Ferndale.

I ride my little bike all the time down here, I always give the wave to Harleys, and at least 80% of them wave back.

Mostly around the seven lakes area west of Detroit. I'm back in the Mojave desert now, boo.

Never head of the seven lakes area. The only thing google turns up is Seven lakes state park, which is about 60 miles northwest of here. Is that where you are talking about?

Hmm, they told me it was the "Seven Lakes" area. But looking at Google Maps, they could call it "bazillion lakes." Anyway, rode around way west of Northville. Went through Hell, of course, and also ate dinner one night at Zukey Lake Tavern in Lakeland.

Nice. I ended up finding some nice riding today. Went through West Bloomfield, rode along Old Orchard Trail heading north, then Milford Road up to Holly. Not a bad ride - lots of tunnels of trees along the way, and Milford offers up plenty of dining options.
