Hops farm you say? Sweet! What's the deal with that? My folks are in TC and I grow hops of my own. I'd love to see this farm next time I'm in the area (which should be about harvest time).

I left N.Y. Thursday and spent the night in Perry, Mi. Met up with the rest of the group Friday morning in Howell, and after coffee, we made the ride to Hell. After pictures and souvenirs, We took the ride to Paradise, with a few nice stops along the way. Yes, the first thing we did in Paradise(after checking in) was order a cheeseburger(nod to all the parrot heads). Unfortunately, I got a call and had to leave before catching all the sights and unique offerings of the U.P. I hope we make this(or similar) an annual thing, and I met a great bunch of new friends. The time spent on the road was good for the soul. ( I'm the guy hiding behind the Foster Grants)

They are already planning the next years trip. Most likely starting in GR and heading to the UP from the there. M58? was like the tunnel of tree's, but twice as long and twice as wide.

Highway 58 in the UP. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! sports cars or bikes will love this!

Several miles of rolling curves, hills, and breathtaking scenery.

Poor Harley Dyna Lowrider couldn't handle the 13 miles of sand, gravel and washboarded "Seasonal Road"

I did all right once I figured out how to make a loaded up Bandit handle like a dirt bike.

So sad I missed it. Ended up in Newport Rhode Island for the folk fest instead. Next year I'll be there.
