This is a very popular quasi-sport-touring bike overseas, now available here. I think it is the Deauville in other markets.
For me, this hits all the right buttons. Not too big but can ride two up with our stuff, not too fast but a nice upgrade from my 500cc, modern technology like PGM-FI and disc brakes, great mileage and a big tank, reasonable price. Even ABS if you want it.
I will absolutely be trying this one out at the bike show.

International Motorcycle Show, put on by Cycle World. Google the first three words, there should be a show within driving distance of you. I believe that Cleveland would be closest, with DC or NYC next. Cleveland is the last weekend of January, IIRC. Most of the major manufacturer's have their bikes there, with the exception of Triumph, though at the DC show the local dealer had a decent selection of Triumph bikes available to see, touch, sit on, etc.
