Fueled by articles in Rider about people taking multi contient Adventure tour trips, and a show about what it would take to build a Bering Strait Tunnel, why not a 5 continent trek? IIRC, there was mention of a ferry between Alaska, Diomede Island, and Siberria. Just think of taking an enduro bike(BMW, KRL 650, Ural 2WD side car?) and going to Africa, Europe, Asia, and North and South America all in 1 trip!!! Austrailia is even possible if you can find a way to island hop down there.

Thoughts on this kind of Adventure?

It's been done. Riding across Eurasia is almost common.

I'd love to do it, but lack the time and resources. And I'd probably enjoy chopping it up into segments instead of one big effort (I'm a wuss).
