MX ones most likely have to be shatter proof, don't know if the same requirements (ie just how shatterproof the lens is) apply to snowboard ones.

I use my Von Zipper snowboard goggles occasionally when it is snowing. They don't fog as much IMHO.

That's what I was thinking. I have a pair of Von Zipper snowboard goggles too and they have that nice double lens so they won't fog and a good tint. My MX goggles don't have either of those.
