It's not really a Diversion because its sold in the US, but it is an XJ600.

Found one locally $1500 with bags and helmet. 16,100 miles, new tires and brakes, Vance and Hines exhaust, open air filters. Not a steal of a deal but a fair asking price and only $100 more than what I sold my last bike for (XT225).

I'm excited as its my first "real" sport bike, and my first bike with over 50hp. (The Seca makes 74hp)

    It's not a SV650, but I couldn't find any of those under $2300 locally.

I had a mid 90's xj600. Should have kept it.

I'm actually doubting my coming purchase because I'm moving someplace where I can't guarantee the security of my ride. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to go with something cheaper and less likely to be stolen...

Motorbikes sometimes fit in living rooms. I'm just saying...

Sounds like you may need a trials bike instead.

I decided that I will give the bike time. The seller has other people look at it and while its a fair price...its not a steal. I'd like a steal.

I also found a 2001 Triumph Adventurer for $1500 with some carb issues.
