A Buddy of mine has a son moving from SLC to Maryland. He has a 70s BMW bike and a Toyota Yaris. Said Uhaul was too much.....

They shipped a bike that I sold from Connecticut to Georgia. The buyer paid for it, but that sounds about right. I was there when it was picked up and it was a totally first class operation.

I used uship.com - I put in what I wanted to pay to have my bike delivered from NC to OH and then searched out the highest rated motorcycle shippers.
I paid $400 to have my bike shipped, but the guy picked it up (and a large box of extra parts) one afternoon and was at my door the next morning before I went to work. Could not have been better.
I had offers for $250 to ship, but the people were not rated on the site.
