As I still cannot control the kawasaurus at low speed I went and bought another two wheeled device. I now have a 2004 Suzuki Burgman 650cc scooter (or step thru motorcycle if you prefer). This thing is really fun and has lets me ride again. It putters around at 8 mph in a parking lot and goes over 80 on the expressway. I have no idea how the automatic tranny works and don't really want to know. It just works.

Anybody want to buy a 1980 Kawasaki KZ1300 that has been repaired but not restored? Unlike most of thise breed and age this has had all the repairs done to make it both fast and safe. Just want to cover most of my costs.

Scooters are awesome!.I just added an '06 Yamaha Majesty 400 to the collection. We had so much fun with the Honda 250 Elite, I couldn't resist when this one was presented to me. It's like going down the road on a Lazyboy! The Honda is now for sale .

In reply to 914Driver: I have about twice that into it so $2k is too low. I had just about everything from the front fender to the tailight repaired. The carbs were rebuilt, brake likes replaced with braided, steering head and swing arm bearings replaced, tank cleaned and coated. and more.

Would you send an e-mail to stegeorgia@gmail.com and I will send some pictures. Thanks for asking.

I did ride it a bit before I came down with lyme disease so I can say this is a real runner. I simply do not have the strength and coordination to keep this thing balanced when stopped at a light. Short legs don't help.
