In a recent column by Denise McCluggage, she alluded to the fact that Peter Egan had recently broken a few bones on a dirt bike.

He has a full column on it in Cycle World in the issue I got earlier this week. He broke his foot and three ribs when he decided to go for a quick ride without all his safety gear on.
