It still rides decent.....to put in perspective how this thing is, its deceptively quick, but once it gets going, its like 32x fast forward. I exceeded the limit of the speedometer accidentally tonight by just short shifting in boost 2nd-6th....that was a "HOLY CRAP" moment for the ages.

Saw it on CL and couldn't resist due to my love of an old computer game I played as a kid called Road Rash. It's the 400cc little brother of the bike on the cover! Carbs need tuning and the reflective strips need to go, makes it look like a tractor trailer.

That was one of Kenny Roberts' favorite street bikes. Don't sell it cheap.

That is scweet. I had an '89 FZR600 in Capt America colors that was totally inferior to those little 400cc all aluminum corner blitzing bastages. They were awesome.

It popped out of a shipping container yesterday at 10am. I had a plate on it over lunch, teched it all out after work to make sure it wasn't broken somehow ... and... 100 miles on it today after work :)

It's a bit of a tall, fat bastard when you are trying to get it turned around in the garage, and I am on tippy toes at stop lights. But, damn, once you get it over 15mph it rides like a bike half it's weight. Took me about 20 minutes of "exercises" to get comfortable tossing it around but after a long ride in the saddle we are like old friends.

Setting alarm for 6am ;)

Was able to sneak out for a four hour ride yesterday. Snuck up the bay side of Green Bay to Gills Rock (The very northern tip of Door County) and then back down the lakeside back to Green Bay. Sadly probably one of the last really nice days to ride up in this neck of the woods. I really need to invest in some cold weather gear...

Nice looking Monster! Do yo have the fly screen? It makes a small dif, but better than nothing. I prefer the look without the screen, but I put it on in the early spring and late fall.

I have used the long johns and long sleeve shirt from HERE they work pretty good for the money.

Thanks GPS and Rusnak_322!I do have the fly screen for it. I don't think it helps with the wind that much. I like the look without the fairing too much to put it back on. I will also have to check out those long johns. i used to just wear my leather jacket with a layer underneath and that would be fine, but I have lost some weight and that jacket is too big to wear.

Let me know, I might be taking the Raptor and a rider with more balls to that sometime in search of the 1000+power adder class record....the record is sub 250mph, and this bike made a handling pass on low boost earlier this year within reach of the record....and faster than the 9 time winner's Suzuki.

Too bad your in Canada. I have a TXC449 and have been wanting something smaller as well. I like those a fair bit as well.

Thanks, and yes it is a S2R 800. I do wish now that I had a S2R 1000. Same package but an extra 20HP and 15lb/ft. I can keep up with my firends and their 600cc sport bikes in turns, but once we hit straight I feel like I am on a moped. Regardless I have a feeling that there will always be a Monster in the garage.

In reply to Zomby:

Those Husky's are sweet!!! I have been looking at some KTM and Husky "dual sport" bikes to take on trails since in WI we need to have road registered bikes. That 125 would be exactly what I would get.

You posted these on the first page of this thread but you had some Cagiva dirt bike then.
