    Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else think RE is missing an opportunity by not setting up a entry-level roadracing class using their bikes (e.g.: http://www.enfieldmotorcycles.com/models/classic-g5.html)

    and then allowing their Cafe or Continental kits (here: http://www.enfieldmotorcycles.com/models/kits/cafe-racer.html)

    to be used? I'm thinking of something like the factory purse Suzuki used to offer with their Katanas back in the 80's to combat the Honda Hurricane.

    Let's face it, the RE bikes are definitely an unknown to the US Rider base. It seems like Race on Sunday/Sell on Monday would apply...

    'Cept they don't really work as race bikes. I've been to tons of vintage races, may be prepping a bike for next season, and I've never seen nor heard of a modern Enfield racer.

    They're cool looking, for sure, but that's about as far as it goes. If you de-prioritize style, you can get a lot more/better bike for RE money.
