Should roll 500 miles tomorrow. I figure I save about 10 cents per mile in gas compared to driving my Focus.

Passed the 600 mile mark today. It's idling a little low lately, need to look into that.

Pushing 800 miles now, still running great. Funny enough, it still hasn't used enough gas to fill the tank on my Focus.

I just got a text from the guy who bought mine three weeks ago. He said that he has ridden it to work every day and he absolutely loves it.
Another happy customer....

Rolled 1000 miles on the way home tonight, in the rain. Also got 101mpg last tank.

Absolutely awesome riding weather today, I think I'm ready to call it a year now. Final total of 1135 miles averaging 95mpg.

Sounds like it was a good year!
Don't forget to drain the fuel tank.

To what? Ruckii are cool. There's your update.

It's been pretty cold, not a whole lot going on. Rode yesterday, I'm just past 1200 miles now. I did add a grm sticker to it a couple of days ago, that should about double my horsepower.
Ive been eyeing intake and exhaust kits lately but exhausts are really expensive.

Ruckii run progressively worse as you modify them. It's not a great idea to try and outsmart Honda's engineers.

I also figure any modifications are going to decrease fuel economy, which is the primary reason I bought the thing.

Yeah, but it might reduce it from 100 MPG down to 90. Small potatoes.
Do you need a factory shop manual?

Depending on the state, anything with more than one forward gear is registered as a motorcycle.

If your answer isn't one of these, you are asking the wrong question...
Those have to be kind of hard to find, I think the MB5's were only imported to the US for a year?
One year only. 1982. I ride one to work every single day. Love it to death. I can almost drag a knee on that beast!
We had two, bought at the same time for my brother and I. Initially, I wanted a (legal) moped, but Pop came home with two of these instead....2 years before I could legally ride it on the road. Fun little bikes....great times.

So all motorcycles are scooters since the CVT has infinite forward gears?

Awesome weather lately, starting to rack up the miles again. I'm hoping to add another 1500 miles before the year is done.
In reply to Woody: what do you want for the shop manual?

How about $25 plus shipping? That's cheaper than anything on eBay.
It's a 2009 manual that I bought at the Honda dealer, which is a 2008 manual with a one page supplement.

I'm totally J-timing on your Ruckus. It's really cool, and to meet someone willing to look like a complete tool for that many miles...well, they have to be something special!
You're a cool dude Mr. PubBurgers, a cool dude indeed. (forget 1500...I wanna see 2000 before the year is over!)
