What would be the best way to free up the throttle return on my 73 Cl125? If you open the throttle with your finger it closes right away, but when turning the handle it just sticks wherever you leave it.

Sounds like maybe the cable or the throttle tube is binding.

Bad cable it the likelyest thing. Rusted comes next. 3rd is a bunch of crap packed in to the throttle tube to handle bar clearance.
