Rolls on the center stand substantially easier. That is all.

Steering will be quicker and lighter as well. Ducati ST4 rides like it so rear tire is 6-10mm off ground when on centerstand for best handling.

That's what I'm hoping for. It's been very sluggish since I swapped in the 98 swingarm and shock from the 1200 donor bike.

I made dog bones that are 3/8" shorter than stock. Result? about 1.75" of lift.

Nice! Got a stabilizer for it? Just be carful 1st few times out at high speed on bumps like sewer lids etc.

I keep looking at stabilizers, just never pulled the trigger on one.

My bike teeters on the centerstand, I have to use a 2X4 under it just to get the back wheel a quarter inch off the ground.

and as mentioned it steers much quicker too. Its something I do to all my bikes.

@Grtechguy, What bike are you modding?

Sweet! I had a 97 when they first came out, Put 325K miles on it with a bunch of mods. I now have a 99, it only has about 125K miles on it now. If your shock starts leaking as they alldo get an oil cooled 1100 rear shock. Bolts on and raises the rear, lasts almost forever.
