After a few downs, the tank on my SV650 has a few beauty scars, aka dents. On the worse one, there's surface rust showing where the bare metal was exposed. I don't really mind them, but would prefer that they don't get cancerous. Should I treat them with something or just let them be?

If you want to show the battle scars, clear coat it.

Dave, someone at a stoplight yelled hello the other day, because he recognized the dent on the tank as mine. I'll probably keep it. Maybe I'll brush some clearcoat nailpolish on it. That exists doesn't it?
