As the title states, anyone in the Charlotte area, or within reasonable driving distance from Charlotte that knows vw tdi?
My diesel knowledge is limited. I've owned a duramax tow rig that never gave any troubles, and a simple 300d.
I could just take it to a shop, but would prefer to actually learn. I had a no start issue, and it ended up starting after a bunch of cranks, and has been fine since.
I'm getting diesel in my engine oil, it's either the injector seals or tandem pump. No clue how to test either, nor do I have any special tools that are needed for the injectors.
Anyone here willing to assist diag? I can come to you, and pay for your time.
