I have several seats removed from several cars undergoing restoration.  I originally had the seats unprotected on a high shelf in the garage, which was a bad move because I discovered some moldy crud growing on them.  I will steam clean the upholstery and refresh/repaint the rails and metal hardware, which have developed a fine patina of surface oxidation.  Once I do this, I will keep them inside the house under climate control from now on.  They are all cloth-covered seats.  Can anyone recommend a dust cover/drape material that will keep the seats clean while allowing them to breathe freely so that they don't get funky?  I'm thinking of those very fine, silk-like sheets that people use to protect antique furniture, but I don't know what that material is.
