I was reading the incredible bodyswap GXP minivan thread, and saw the Harbour Freight version of a windshield saw mentioned and linked (sorry,I am too lame to link-2L2L). Well, if that's too rich for your blood, Grab a guitar, or better yet, bass E string, shove it through the weatherstripping, wrap a couple of wood dowels or screwdrivers or whatever into the ends, and work your way around the perimeter with a sawing motion. In a pinch, a hood cable from whatever you can find at the Pull-a-Part works fine, too.
