Hi all,

I had an account years ago here when I had a garage and space to play with cars. While I don't have that anymore, I have been back and lurking for the last few months looking for inspiration.

Came across this little DIY, and thought some of you might like it.

Nice. I'm stealing that idea.

I was prepared to be sarcastic, but I find myself impressed instead. How refreshing.

That's cool!

I just use my backpack blower so I don't need to store another tool.

Yeah, I'm thinking how I can make an attachment for my leaf blower or shop vac.

Doesn't a shop vac already do this?

Main reason I posted this is because all the air comes out at such a low level, it looks like the 'giant cloud of dust' is much less of an issue. I don't have a garage right now to even do this with, but thought it was cool anyway.

I also like that he points the air from a wide base inward, rather than a shop vac or leaf blower, that sends air from a single point outward.

Keeps all the debris semi-contained, which is a huge improvement.

I've always just used my blower nozzle with the air compressor. I can see this being more effective with the angled holes.
