First timer on the forum.

So I'm considering going to NASA's Sandblast Rally in South Carolina this February since its the only rally I can find that's not a 10 hour drive or a flight away.

I'm not familiar with the event nor the Cheraw area so was wondering if anyone has been there in the past and what you're experience was.

Sidenote - I'm a photographer so that's influencing my decision to go to the rally or head future South to Roebling for CCS on the same day.

I have been as both a competitor and service crew- not sure whether I will be there this year, but it's generally a pretty well organized event.  My one major tip is, whether you volunteer or just spectate, try to use the instructions in the rally guide rather then GPS as much as possible- your GPS doesn't know which roads are closed for the rally or which are 3ft of sand!
