Looks like I have some free time around the end of this month.

So I'm going to OKC as soon as I may without having to pay higher airfare.

Bill Bonadio has a virgin Art Morrison design Dio-Tipo tube frame for me to take measurements from.

I need to do that before he builds a car around it.

I have his standard drawings but they do not have full dimensions, angles, radius, etc.

I intend to update them into a CAD program and begin manufacturing.

These frames are designed to handle V8's, but I'm just using a 2.0 Alfa-Romeo in my own build.

And a Buick 225/T10 in the second build. Not really interested in building a drag car/Cobra wanna' be.

May do that later, but only if I'm being paid for it!

So my plan is to fly in, make the drawings that day, spend the night, and fly out.

I may schedule the return leg for later in the day just in case I need to visit Bill a second time.

Anyone in OKC interested to meet up for dinner, maybe accompany me to Bill's shop?

If I can get a decent job to fund my getting it all going I intend to build a few of these.

So can definitely use a Rover/Buick combo.

Problem is that since I am out in the middle of nowhere shipping gets to be an issue.

As long as I get as much advance notice as possible, I would like to come out and visit. I don't know what a Dii-Tipo is (French/Italian? Dion/Tipolino?), but it sounds like a good time!

if you were doing a run of them I have the shop to bend the tubing for the main beams of the chassis ,

but they are in the Los Angeles area......

I'm going to convert my bender to air over hydraulic.

Will probably also be buying more dies.

Having trouble with the forum, cannot get to some of my pages, but here is my basic Garage entry.

More than happy to help, otherwise it's getting turned into a coffee table and lamp...also have a Rover EFI manifold and a 3.8L T-bird supercharger if'n ya want it.

Keep me in mind when you get settled, I'll see what I can do about using my commercial shipping account to help you out.

Well, flight is booked, 2/4 and 2/5.

I will have most of the day 2/5 to take my pics and make my measurements.

Not impressed with rental car rates.

To remain low budget it looks like I will be on foot for 2/4 unless the local transit is OK?

Will have some early evening time to kill, museum and dinner?

Rumor has it that OKC barbecue is very good, suggestion, keeping in mind that I will probably be on foot/transit from the airport?

Museums of interest would be automotive or Local/Western history.

Tight budget trip I've been trying to do for about a year.

Should I know what we are talking about here? Dio Typo? The gods made a typo?

Sixties Sports-Racer's for the street or track.

Originally built on Triumph TR3/4 frames.

Then AM designed tube frames for them to use V8's.

AM will not do them anymore as they got too big/famous/expensive for such mundane work.

I am building a couple of them, thought I had started a build thread but now not finding it.

I plan to begin making chassis and perhaps full or nearly complete builds as my "Retirement" business.
